Avian Influenza - Temporary Changes to Free-Range Eggs
05 April 2022
Dear Customer
From Monday 21st March 2022, following advice from the governments veterinary office, all free-range hens in the UK are temporarily housed inside to safeguard them against Avian Influenza, commonly known as Bird Flu.
Our products that contain UK sourced free-range eggs within their ingredients are produced by hens that are temporarily housed inside, however there will be no changes to the packaging.
This is likely to last only a few weeks, but the final decision will be taken by the Government's Chief Veterinary Officer.
Yours sincerely
